Pryor and The AMRC to exhibit RAID at the MAKE UK 2020 Conference | Pryor MarkingShow allShow less
Pryor Marking Technology and the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), have joined forces to develop RAPID,Reconfigurable Assembly Integrated Demonstrator.
Combining robotics and laser engraving, the system will demonstrate to conference visitors how automated assembly can be used to generate large data streams. This data, both live and historic, enables the implementation of a digital twin, which in turn can allow for greater control of the entire process using artificial intelligence (AI). Data can be used to resolve issues before they occur, to prevent manufacturing downtime and identify opportunities.
Find us at stand #1 in the Britton Lounge of the QEII Centre
